10 splendas, please

(OK, before I start, let me just say that I usually like some coffee w/ my creamer, so this is one of those pot/kettle things. Hee. Which just made me think of 13 going on 30 and laugh out loud.)
Standing in line at Dunkin Donuts.
Because today is cube moving day... I needed some energy.
So I'm waiting my turn.
And... the man in front of me??
Orders a small coffee.
(which is like a dixie cup of coffee, mind you)
With cream.
And TEN SPLENDAS.
Ten.
(that's like the sweetness of 20 sugars, yes?! (twenty?!?! egads!))
He sorta whispered it.... "... and ten splendas, please."
But the woman didn't hear him.
So he had to pretty much shout it.
I have to admit, I burst our laughing.
Poor man. Just wanted a teeny bit of coffee w/ his splenda this am...
