I've been crazy busy lately with work. Yeah. I know. Did I really just say that?? It's true... and-- shockingly enough-- I don't MIND it. I LIKE feeling useful... and productive... and like something will come out of all this work-- but it's so different. I'm used to, ummm, more so emailing and chatting and blogging and pea-ing... and those things aren't happening. But I still WANT them to. What I need to do is make some more hours in the day... and for all of you to say-- yes, g, we know you love us, even tho you're neglecting everything and everyone lately.
Just humor me, OK??

Then I'm in Chicago for work... and then CHA.
(Hooray for seeing Hanni and Mara and Bridge and Jess (even tho she lives 10 minutes away) and Laura and Kirsten and Nisa and Jen and her cute preggo belly and everyone else I'm forgetting b/c my brain is ten sizes too small lately!)
And then off to Atlanta.

But it's OK....
Things really are good. This weekend has been amazing-- like 80 degrees, with perfectly blue skies. Max isn't leaving my side because he's seen the dreaded s-u-i-t-c-a-s-e come out again. So many things to make me happy....
Without further ado... some happy things....
- This surprise from my sisser and all my scrappy friends... how incredibly cool is this?? Love love LOVE it. Thank you guys so much. I don't even think I've praised every page yet. But I WILL. I promise. Ya'll should see the album she put together for me. I love it oh so very very much, too... Oh, and Gluey-- she got the me the poppy purse you found online that day. How good is the e?!?! Yes... she's the best. I'll take pics... Soon...
- Chriselda's RR Everyday surprise?!? So cool....
- This page from the Missy... somedays I don't feel very gabulous... thankful every day I have friends to lift me back up again. M keeps me sane. And I love her for that.
- The girl posted a picture of my butt on her bloggage.... but also some of the world's sweetest words. Love me some G2.
- And then there's this girl.... I know she's crazy bizzy ;) too these days... and she still finds time for this AND a cupcake card...
- Mail love from some of my fave peeps... the gluey girl, Rachel C (so excited to meet you in less than a WEEK, my dearest!), Bridge (who's latest post is even better than mail love), and Marmot (seeing YOU in less than a week TOO! Yippeeeeeeee! and J-mo... and then your fab new HOUSE. HOORAY!)
- Cake from my Mikey... he ordered it for me... even when I thought he wouldn't... he's a good one, that Mikey... (insert cake pic here, which I even resized and everything... but blogger's being a hater so I can't...)
- A massage gift certificate from my two best grad school friends...
- Working every day with one of my fave people in the world. She doesn't visit the bloggage. But I'm so lucky to have her. She makes all this craziness... more than worth it.
- The fact that there's a third babyWren on the way... in fact, ALMOST here. Sending out some baby pressies. THAT makes me happy.
- Some bits of good news soon to be shared. I hope. <--- it's my blog and I get to be cryptic if I want to and there's nothing you can do about it b/c I'm leaving again. Nah nah nah boo boo. Hee.
I'm needing to email people in Racine. Make lists. Get groceries. Clean. Organize. Plan. Think. Do. But I just want to go lay on the couch with Mikey and watch the World Cup. I think that's going to win out. And I'm OK with that right now.
