it's the little things...
that make life sweet, right?
Sometimes it is good to step back
and think about those little things...
And to push that post on down the page a bit
(and thank you... seriously... you all get me so well... and it overwhelms me with gratitude)

- the funny little flustered repair guy at Best Buy who filled out my work order request as follows: "REDO ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL GETTING SAME ERROR CODE!!! DELETING PICS RANDOMLY!!!!!! THIS IS NOT GOOD!!!!! RUSH!!!!!!" which made me giggle... which was good, b/c the little thing not making me so happy is the broken camera....
- iced chai soy lattes at Caribou. Not Starbucks. Caribou.
- feeling proud of Mikey for making a wicked awesome catch at the first softball game I dragged my lazy butt to this season. Also, watching said husband play soccer. He's pretty cute, he is. Hee.
- 80 degree days. Cool nights. Perfection. Over now, but really really nice while it lasted...
- Danny the Orkin man always saying hi to Max first when he comes to my house.
- New Veronica Mars this week. I confess-- I sorta dig the Piz (who is apparently some sort of mancandy on the new Grey's spinoff thingie? which is kinda weird to me...). He's cute, he's happy-- and while I love Logan long time, Piz and V are nice. And sometimes love doesn't need to be quite so angsty as TV makes it... although I guess that doesn't make for very good tv....
- email conversations that consist solely of quotes from the Office... and crying with hysterical laughter and shouting "No, Michael, no, Michael, no no no!" at the screen during this week's episode.
- planting new flowers and praying that this season is the one in which they make it all the way to fall.
- going to go to a soccer game tonight. In the chilly chilly rain. We're going to pretend we're real football fans in merry olde England or something. Hot cocoas all around.... errr, that doesn't sound very British.
- limeade. Yum.
- finding out my very favorite author-- the incredible Barbara Kingsolver-- is going to be in the area tomorrow-- her writing always inspires me, always keeps me up late at night because I just can't stop reading. Amazing. Going to see her. So excited. Also, nervous-- I am going to be a babbling idiot. At least I know this in advance.
- weekends with Mike. Treasuring this time we have that is just us. Remembering how blessed I am. I really am.
